Catering vision at Trent View

As part of our vocational offer, we have a dedicated team of students who run the catering kitchen and coffee shop, Trent Brew. Students within the catering group prepare hot and cold meal options for all students at college as well as accessing their core skills, preparation for adulthood and PSHE lessons within their curriculum.

Students are taught a range of hot and cold food preparation skills and follow approved kitchen hygiene practices in a supported environment so that they progress into employment in the food industry after they leave college. It is anticipated that students, where appropriate, will leave college with a food hygiene certificate.

In addition to our catering kitchen, Students also run our cafe the front of the college, Trent Brew which offer a variety of hot and cold beverages and snacks. For more information visit the Trent Brew page.
