Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Information

Trent View College is a specialist free school for children and young people aged 16-19. All students at Trent View have an Education, Health and Care Plan with primary identified SEND in the areas of Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning and/or Physical and Sensory. All students have additional needs in these identified areas which present significant barriers to their learning.

Our SEND Policy and Information Report aims to:

  • Set out how our college supports and makes provision for students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Explain the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in providing for students with SEN
  • Set out the vision, values and broader aims of our arrangements for students with SEN and disabilities

Our full SEND Policy and Information Report can be found on our Policies and Procedures page.
