Catering Vision at Trent View

At Trent View College, our catering services are uniquely student-led, with students taking an active role in both our catering kitchen and our on-site coffee shop, Trent Brew. This hands-on experience allows students to develop essential life skills while contributing meaningfully to our college community.

Students are taught a wide range of hot and cold food preparation techniques under the guidance of experienced Trent View College staff. They work in a supported environment where they follow approved kitchen hygiene practices, ensuring a safe and professional standard of food service.  We aim to equip our students with valuable qualifications as they transition into adulthood. It is anticipated that, where appropriate, students will leave college with a food hygiene certificate, reflecting their hard work and dedication to maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
